Swimming in Key West!!!!

Coco and I spent a wonderful time swimming at Dog Beach in Key West, Florida.

There were a number of dogs there and a lot of fine people as well. The water was very warm and as such was so much different than that of Labrador or Newfoundland where we also went swimming.

Jodie and I dashed in the water like a couple of otters. Most of the dogs were in and out of the water, but we were the only real water sprites. Now we've swum all around the country, from Maine to Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Sea of Cortez, the Pacific from San Diego to Washington state, and Labrador, and all the Maritimes of Canada.

Those of you who know Coco know what a prima donna she can be, sometimes a real pest! Well, in Key West there are some topless beaches and Coco insisted on going topless (sans collar). Eventually Dad took off her collar so she could dazzle the crowd. She was in and out of the water, shaking her head to show everyone that she had no collar on, what a hussy!

Oh what a feeling!!!! To be running and swimming freely without the confines of a collar. I think I'm going to try to find a string collar for those times when you have to wear a collar, but it can be revealing.

The thing is that we had such a grand time and we'll be in the Keys another week, so I'm sure we'll get another chance. I don't know, if it's not too crowded and the weather is just right,I just might, MIGHT try swimming without my collar.
